Jumma Prayer Arrangement during the Covid Pandemic

Due to strict social distancing restrictions in place, only a limited number of Musallee can be accommodated inside the masjid. Therefore, 4 Jumma congregations have been organised at following times to spread out the attendees and maintain social distancing:

First Jama’at: 1:30pm
Second Jama’at: 2:00pm
Third Jama’at: 2:30pm
Fourth Jama’at: 3:00pm

To further ensure that only a manageable number of musallee (enabling social distancing) are allowed to enter the Masjid at a time, you must pre-register ourselves a place using following booking link:

 https://worshippers.salahspace.app/mosque/book/jamia-masjid-swindon

Once you have registered a place, you must keep the QA code automatically generated by the website to present at the time of entry to the Masjid. You can also present a valid QR code printed on a paper.

Please note that all of social distancing measure listed in a previous post below MUST be adhered to whilst you are at the Masjid.
It is understandable that some of our brothers may find these measure inconvenient or too limiting, but these measure have been put in place to ensure compliance with the UK Government guidelines on social gatherings in a worship setting. Masjid administration seek your appreciation and cooperation. Let’s all pray insha-Allah that we soon come out of Covid restrictions. Jazak-Allah

Masjid Donation Appeal

As you are aware, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Masjid is unable to open this Ramadan. This has resulted in a shortage of funds for our Masjid as the majority of donations for the year are obtained during this holy period, as well as during weekly Friday prayers which are currently suspended. Masjid expenditure has been reduced as much as possible to mitigate this but there is still a funding gap which needs to be addressed. We kindly ask for your support for our Masjid in order to help us through this period of uncertainty. Our Masjid running expenses had been grnerously funded by the community for numerous decades, but it is especially important now – during these testing times that we come together and support the Masjid.
