Covid-19 Lockdown Measures

We would like to implement the government directives and rules in response to second surge of Covid-19 infections. We will operate under following conditions:

  1. Masjid will be opened for individual prayers only.
  2. Daily Jama’at and Friday (Jumuah) prayers sadly remain suspended during the lock down.
  3. Funeral prayers will be held under controlled setting and can be attended by a maximum of 30 people.
  4. Madrassah lessons will continue in the masjid and online.

Masjid Donation Appeal

As you are aware, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Masjid is unable to open this Ramadan. This has resulted in a shortage of funds for our Masjid as the majority of donations for the year are obtained during this holy period, as well as during weekly Friday prayers which are currently suspended. Masjid expenditure has been reduced as much as possible to mitigate this but there is still a funding gap which needs to be addressed. We kindly ask for your support for our Masjid in order to help us through this period of uncertainty. Our Masjid running expenses had been grnerously funded by the community for numerous decades, but it is especially important now – during these testing times that we come together and support the Masjid.

Online Transfer: You can either donate online by using the “Donate” link on the Masjid website.

Bank transfer: Or make a bank transfer to the following account:

Barclays Bank PLC
Account No.: 90883964
Sort Code: 20-84-58

Cash Donations: can also be arranged. Please contact either of following individuals

Azim Khan – 07595 741086
Mufti Imran – 07846 929873

We ask Allah, the Almighty, to bless us during the last 7 days of spiritual month and protect us and our loved ones during these difficult times.

Jazak Allah Khair
